PRINCIPLES OF ERGONOMICS
Training and development for Supervisors, Employees & Ergonomic Committees. Participants will learn about Elements of an Ergonomics Program including Job Risk Factors, Hazard Identification Checklists, Evaluating Job Risk Factors for Production and Office Environments, and recognizing signs and symptoms of cumulative trauma disorders.

BUILDING EFFECTIVE SAFETY COMMITTEES
Team building and training for Supervisor and Employee Safety Committees. Provides training to Committee members on how to select participants, conduct meetings, and develop goals and agendas. Participants will learn how they can conduct effective Safety Committee Meetings and make contributions to their overall programs and avoid the need for a sheboygan workers compensation attorney.

FACILITY INSPECTION TRAINING
OSHA, NFPA Standards on Facilities Inspections and Most Cited Violations. Participants will learn how to conduct formal monthly and informal daily facility inspections, identify hazardous conditions, acts or equipment and methods for developing follow-up procedures to ensure hazard correction.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
OSHA, ANSI and NIOSH Standards on PPE and Hazard Assessments for PPE. Provides training on how to conduct job hazard assessments for personal protective equipment. Additionally, provides training on how to select and use personal protective equipment.

EYE SAFETY – INJURY PREVENTION
OSHA regulations on Personal Protective Equipment in general participants will learn about eye engineering controls, hazards and injury prevention.

HAND SAFETY/INJURY PREVENTION
Avoiding finger, hand and wrist injuries. Safe work practices, training on how to identify specific hand hazards and personal protective equipment and selecting the right tool for each job.

RESPIRATOR
Revised OSHA regulations on Respirator Training and Fit Testing. Provides training on respirator use, selection, fit testing, training, medical questionnaire and evaluation.

LADDERS
Both wooden and metal ladders of various types must be used for specific purposes. All workers must comply with these rules.

RETURN TO WORK PROGRAM
Overview of Transitional Employment Programs – Benefits to Company and Employees. Will enable participants to develop and implement an effective Return to Work Program. Attendees will learn how to identify restricted duty jobs/tasks and to communicate existence to employees, medical care providers, clinics, etc.
